About Me
Hello,
I am Sam Dyson. I attended LSU for Mass Communication Advertising. After a few classes I realized that, while I thought I was a hot-shot creative, I was in fact meant to do something with research. I quickly found that in numerous group projects the data and data analysis was something that I liked and, according to everyone else, something I excelled at.
This revelation in the last 2 years or so of my LSU career led me to try to focus more on research and data. I was an account planner and presenter for LSU in the AAF NSAC competition. I represented LSU in the District level event. I presented the research we did for the project as well as explaining our media plan and campaign evaluation. I also helped conduct and refine our research and campaign evaluation during the project.
More personally, I am nerd. I have always been a nerd and nerdy things have always interested me. I have been a gamer most of my life, even achieving high ranks in some competitive well known games. Most of the games I prefer have some sort of team aspect to them. I have often taken a leadership role in these games and have led multiple groups/teams to success. I play a lot of cards and card games. Including both Poker and Magic the Gathering. Recently, I have been trying to become a movie nerd, tearing though IMDB's top 250 as well as many other top 100 movie rankings. I also always enjoyed music, despite lacking any musical talent. I enjoy sports and even while "nerding" it up managed to letter in football in high-school. I like to think I am fairly goofy and enjoyable person. Lastly, and probably most importantly I am a ginger.
